Fugitive dentist seeks Congressional seat

In the "you couldn't make this up" category:

Jack Shepard, a former Minneapolis dentist who lives in Italy and faces a 23-year-old arson charge, is again running for Congress in Minnesota's 4th District.

Shepard ran long-distance campaigns for Congress in 2004 and for the U.S. Senate in 2002, and was decisively defeated in Republican primaries both times.

On Wednesday, Minnesota Secretary of State Mary Kiffmeyer received by mail Shepard's statement of candidacy and filing fee. On Thursday, Kiffmeyer accepted Shepard as a Republican candidate for the U.S. House seat now held by Democratic Rep. Betty McCollum.

Then there's this:

The pending arson charge against Shepard alleges he set fire to his Lake Street dental office on Sept. 3, 1982. He appeared in court on the charge later that year, was released on a recognizance bond and then failed to show up for subsequent hearings, according to Hennepin County court records.

In a series of phone calls and e-mail messages to the Pioneer Press over the last two years, Shepard has repeatedly denied setting fire to the office. He also has said that he was allowed, as a dentist, to possess the narcotics that led to his drug conviction.

Which clearly explains why he fled to Italy and has stayed there for 23 years rather than return and clear his name....

This is almost as funny as the blind hunters in Wisconsin.

Amy’s a dictator to the boos of her staff.

When will the Minnesota Voters really see, hear and find out that Amy Klobuchar learned to con them; Amy really is a dictatorial boss to the boos of her Hennepin County Attorney's office staff.

Amy Klobuchar has not accomplished but “conned” and "mislead" the Minnesota Voters that she has really all by herself "Super Amy getting out of some telephone booth, after changing identities in a one piece Superwoman outfit?"

As Superwoman Amy, and Amy and only Amy has lowered the crime rate in Minneapolis all by herself-

REALTIY while the truth is the Minneapolis crime rate has increased this year by 30% the high rate in the history of Minneapolis, six times the national average!

If Super Amy is running on her record as a crime fighter, I simple ask and wish to explain Super Amy does not have a record to run on as a crime fighter.

So is super Amy running on a record as a strong and kind boss, I simple ask and wish to explain Amy's staff says Amy is a 0-ZERO, a very unkind person who created such a hostile work environment they suffered.

I ask the Minnesota voters what Amy is running on.

Where and what has Amy been a success at?

Only Conning the Minnesota Voters!

Amy told Patrick Sweeney, Pioneer Press and I quote; "If you are charged with a crime; you will do the Time."

That's Amy on the record. Lucky for Amy; President Putin of Russia is hiring if Amy does not get elected.

Why do Minnesotan’s support Amy so strongly when Amy’s record is not her record but falsely based on the record she takes credit for the work of others; no only her staff, but also work of the brave the Minneapolis Police Force which is presently under staffed, and under funded.

Mark Kennedy talks about this but it seems Amy does not care that the Minneapolis Police department is understaffed and under funded.

The brave Minneapolis Police Officers face danger everyday.

The only danger Amy Klobuchar ever faces is when she really does stop campaigning for a minute to actually really stop by her office to see how Pete Cahill is running her office for her, this danger would come from her own employees; because they are so very unhappy working in the hostile working environment that Amy has created for them these last 7 years.

1) Amy does not have a Record?

2) Pete Cahill’s and the staff of the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office have an excellent record and work everyday. Can we say that about Amy?

3) Really the only thing published is that the staff of the Hennepin County Attorneys Office prosecuted 100% of the cases.

4) The staff of the Hennepin County Attorneys Office said they are very unhappy with the hostile working environment that Amy Klobuchar has created.

5) The staff of the Hennepin County Attorney’s office do not and will never support Amy Klobuchar as a candidate for the United States Senate.

6) So why should we?

Dr. Jack Shepard; GOP candidate for the 4th CD in the Sept. 12, 2006 Minnesota Primary.

Seems to me Amy Klobuchar is so wrong about so many things; that most of the things Amy says she literally does not know what she is talking about; her statements are just not well thoughtout

I didn't think this situation could get any funnier; I was wrong.
