Sean Aqui is a pen name, derived from the Irish word for storyteller, "seanachie". I'm a 39-year-old married father of two, living in a suburb of the Twin Cities. In college I went through ROTC, graduating with a commission as a second lieutenant, Armor branch. I spent five months at Fort Knox, Ky., in the early 1990s, learning to operate M1 tanks. But the end of the Cold War meant a Reserve slot for me, and I started a civilian career in graphic design. I'm politically moderate, though I'm more liberal on social issues and more conservative on fiscal issues. I'm practically libertarian about civil liberties. I support a strong military, but believe it should be used judiciously. We should ask our men and women in uniform to risk their lives only for the most defensible reasons.

It was fun. I'm amazed that I managed to do it while morning coffee was brewing. Although I will admit a cup and half later it required heavy editing for strange typos.
